3rd Annual Outlaw Challenge - Sundance Saloon, Parker Az

Once again this not an event delivers! No joke there had to be twice as many people this year vs last year. Huge turnout of some of the baddest boats around and the crowd was massive. I can't wait for next year not to happen again. I just don't know where they're going to put everyone. Sundance was packed to the walls!!

Thanks again Norm, Joy, Tony and Mark for letting me do whatever I wanted, you guys rock!!

Here are a few of the pics I took. I have a ton more I'm working on, I'll try to get them all done tonight or tomorrow. Awesome shots as always, Vic!! Man, that place was packed!! It was so packed that people were parking up by the main road and walking in. We had to walk about a mile from where we parked to get in. Insane.

The story I've heard, which seems to be the final prognosis without all the speculation, was that he has a broken back in the lower region and there is numbness in lower extremities, which they think is being caused by bone pressed against the spinal cord.

From what I've seen the boat hit that roller, chined, and bucked Wayne up and out. Definitely could have been much worse. He's got a ton of time in the seat in K-50, so it's nothing more than an unfortunate accident. Get well soon Wayne!

TY my friend, i just checked in on the other websites to get more info on Wayne, I did see the video... Wayne is a bad as driver, and thats one of my all time favorite Ks...

Just saw an update on faceyspace and he had surgery yesterday for 7.5 hours to add a couple of titanium rods to some existing titanium rods that were already there from a previous run in with a dirt bike. Apparently he took a pretty good bounce off the gunwale when he came out of the boat. Now we wait. Wayne is nothing if not tough.

If I missed your boat I apologize. I was on the roof from around 845 until just before 1pm. It was brutal. I ran down stairs a couple times for water, but by 1pm I was absolutely fried.

Great pics HB Captain. Thanks for toughing it out for the rest of us that couldn't quite make it there in time. This NON-event sure makes for a challenging decision between the roundy rounds down river or up here with B-Liners. Glad to hear Wayne is ok and well on the mend and the Ghost was apparently (?) unscathed and will ride again. As for next year Sundance will just have to settle for making more money.
