2017 ARP/SCSC Long Beach Sprint Nationals (pics inside)

Things down at Long Beach Marine Stadium are buzzing with activity. All the racers getting set up as well as all the vendors. As of around 3pm the Motorhome/Camper folks were still waiting to get in.

The weather looks great for racing and the water, today anyway, was great. I started out getting the Hotbot.com motorhome all set up, then swung by the pits and snapped a bunch of pics. My plan is to take a ton of pics this weekend, we'll see how that goes.

For now, enjoy, and its never too late to head down to Long Beach Marine Stadium to watch some great boat racing!!

Good morning from Long Beach Marine Stadium. I had every intention of posting yesterdays pics yesterday, but when I finally got him, I pretty much died. Standing in the sun all day literally kicked my ass LOL. But I got them done this morning. Awesome day of racing yesterday, and i'm hoping today will be even better. Its not too late for you to come out and enjoy some boat racing in our own back yards. Come out, support the racers, vendors, promoters and sponsors and have a great time doing it. I stopped by the motorhome twice to pick up my swag and there was nobody there so I gave up and went back to the other side and sat Under The Canopy and enjoy the races
It was a great day yesterday thanks Bruce AKA too many Mustangs for helping out setting up the canopies and hanging out with us also great to meet a lot of people and put some faces to the board names thanks for hanging out with us as well and great meeting you all you know who you are[emoji106][emoji106][emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]

Saturday, at the Stadium, Harlan Orrin, Pete Giroux, Steve McElroy, and various other miscreants hung out around where our Vintage Boats were displayed. I ran into Westair and Mouzer , I think Sunday. Rattle Can Lou and Speedboat Racer did an excellent job of announcing and color commentary. I saw the Hotboat Motorhome , but never ran into Vic ( although I wouldn't know him if I was standing next to him ).

Gawd its been a long time since I've used my 400 2.8 prime lens, and now I remember why I love this lens so much. Its just plain bad ass. THe clarity and warmth is amazeballs. Can't wait to use it again. Here are a few for now. I will get the rest posted this weekend. Again, I'm sorry for the delay, usually I'm the first to get my pics up. I failed this time.
