Hope your day was good/productive/fun...
I got to spend some time with good friends here today, for a cowboy shoot... Any lever guns are legal and you shoot open sights at 50, 100, 150, 200 yards...
I got to see some incredible shooting today, a new course record today of 33 out of a possible 40 by Bob Lamping, SUPER nice guy...
The previous round was black powder precision shooting out to 560 yards (at ram silhouettes) with open sights... Falling blocks (John Browning design), and rolling block Remingtons mostly and in 45/90 black powder... It's incredible how accurate these guys can shoot with home cast lead bullets and black powder... 560 yards OPEN SIGHTS!!!!!!!!!
