Redondo Beach, CA - The Southern California Speedboat Club (S.C.S.C.) is proud to present Sprint Boat racing on Lake Ming. Race fans will be treated to an exciting two day event watching thrilling Sprint Boat Racing featuring some of the fastest boats in the nation.
This years schedule will feature the Grand National Racing Series, Crackerboxes, Super Stock & Pro Stock Flatbottoms, Comp Jets, Western Formula Lights, Sportsman Entry (SE) runabouts, Classic Outboard Runabouts (COR), GPS95 flatbottoms and a host of limited stock outboard classes will duke it out as the racers in each of these classes will be racing towards their high point championship. The Comp Jets are always a crowd favorite with plenty of tight, deck to deck racing action
Top racers from all over the country will test their driving talents against other drivers at one of the best tracks in the country. There will be great racing action as all racers will be competing for their chance at victory!

Come and enjoy sprint boat racing on Lake Ming. Admittance is free! Spectator parking is in the East parking lot area. Please, no spectator vehicles will be allowed in the pits! Racing gets underway at 9:00 a.m. both days!!!

The 2016 SCSC Lake Ming Regatta Presented by Nick Rose Insurance, Ahern Rentals, Amsoil Twins, Jet Re- Nu, Hotboat.com, Gretchen's Auto, Rex Marine saw near perfect weather with temperatures in the mid 80's clear blue skies and very slight breezes. Teams took to the water to continue their championship points chase. With only some minor incidents the event saw a large contingent of stock outboard including 7 "J" (Junior) Hydroplanes with 4 brand new drivers and a large Crackerbox class also with 7 teams making the call. Great racing on the water with some very tight battles made for a great event and racers and fans seemed to have a great time once again at one of the best race courses on the West Coast.

SCSC wishes to thank all the teams that participated, the fans who were at the venue and those that tuned in to the livestream and to it's staff and volunteers.
