I can't stand having to go up into the attic. Being bald, the first warning you're about to hit your head is when you hit your head. Makes for a bad shave the following days.

Had to go up there as the wife felt there was some discoloration on our kitchen ceiling and wanted to make sure no leaks in roof for the oncoming rains. Fortunately, all seems good and it was just a spot where paint was not put on thick when we resend the kitchen about seven years ago.

Would like to put my furnace in the attic as it would definitely give me some more storage in the hallway.

Not sure why this box is up there.

I want to put my furnace up there also but I think the re-ducting and plumbing on a 2-story house would just be too crazy.
Looks like you have nice storage room up there if you lay some ply wood down.

If I didn't have full storage over my three car garage, I sure would. Bragging. ;)
