Yes it was but the ground was SOAKED from the rain from the last few days. Carts on paths only really slows the pace especially for us hackers trying to find lost balls.

Not too many trees in play there but it goes straight from fairway to un- retrievable rough just like that.

I played Pumkin Ridge a week or so before the Women's US Open some years back. Two inches off the fairway and you couldn't find the ball as the grass was so high. Needed spotters like the pros. Tiger won his 1996 amateur title there.

San Fran in the back ground. A couple miles south of Oakland, San Leandro to be exact. Monarch bay.
