We used to have a little 13' watermouse before we moved to SWF, but it's gone and we're looking for something similar, I called it our bar boat, something we can take out for a quick spin when I don't want to get the big boat dirty, I've been checking and there seems to be more smaller lake boats out West by you guys, any ideas, thanks for any help.

Criteria;

no bigger than 18'
can be a cat or V-hull, don't care
preferably an single stock outboard
must be able to hold 4 normal size adults....................and a small amount of beer.
don't care if it's older, but if is, it's got to be in great shape
preferably not new, I don't like paying for the initial depreciation hit when buying new, but if it's a deal I can't pass up, I'll look
can't give you a number (price), the number would depend on the specs of the boat

Oh, I forgot, it only has to go from A to B and not at 80+mph

Thanks for any help, Jim (aka joey)

What do you consider "normal sized" adults? lol

I like old school, but not "that" old school, maybe something a little newer, not a big fan of aluminum either, thanks though.

for being a dock beater from point A to B looks like low maint. also but would not impress so it would still be there when you are ready to leave......................:captain:

That's a pretty cool setup.

The pic of the boat I posted is an outboard, it just doesn't have one on it, you can buy the boat without an engine, that was the pic I posted.

How bout a pon toon....

Not really a pontoon kind of guy.....................not yet at least....................lol

How bout a poon toon....

fixed it for you...

Hey Joey, the owner of MTI, Randy S. (in Wentzville) had a smallish hydro, maybe 15' that was set up for a outboard... I wanted to buy it to run on Lake St Louis since that lake is horsepower limited...

It looked like a mini version of my sanger and had seating for four... I was told that he sold it to one of his employees, it would be a great classic looking little boat if they would pop a mold and crank out a few...

Malking a short run of something like that would be kids play for the folks at MTI...

In the other extreme, I found out about a gent with a 44' fountain on LOTO that is wanting to sell his whole deal down there, boat/slip/condo... I know, I know, its a little late now... ;)

Does anyone know where this is and where would I fly into to see this thing if it's for real, I would love something like this.

Canyon Lake. Ontario would be the closest. I may be able to do it Monday. Sunday is also possible.

Joey, if your interested in something of that vintage...

How about something like this 1959 Century REsorter, on a restored trailer and new cover???

THe boat that is in LAKE ST LOUIS for sale has the sides painted red w/red&white interior (his son, my high school buddy) by a professional body shop/auto painter... Has the mahogany front and back deck, roll back top also so Rowdy can get some shade... 302 ford inboard... Quiet and smooth, runs out around 55 MPH... THis is a show club boat I'm talking about...

Fresh resto/touch up... Turn key and ready...

Call me and I will give you more details...

I havent got to study the one that my friends dad has for sale, but I have seen it around town on the trailer and its very slick looking with the red sides/red-white interior and mahogany deck...

WIth a 302 ford, how could you go wrong? :)
