I like seeing the Hondo and Eliminator battling out in SE. With circle racing dominated by B boats forever, it's refreshing to see other hulls racing. :yes:

I could be wrong, but I thought the K24 had upgraded their capsule lid hardware. I wonder what happened there....?

He's actually in a great mood, I did call him. :D

The guy who's supposed to help with a new and improved hitch latching system never came through and the old latching system failed. Good news is the lid floats and was recovered,

Unfortunately k124 suffered major engine failure as well as the k-66.

Steve said Heath Heibert has the rest of the GN field covered. He dominated today.

Only 2 super stocks there which is a bummer.

Can anyone tell me, what's the deal with the roll bars on the outboard COR boats ? The obvious is for driver's safety, but unless they've had a rash of them hit the beach lately I'm not clear on what protection they offer on the water ----- unless it's to offer protection from boats crashing into each other ?

The roll bars were mandated after a death a couple years ago where one boat basically went over the top of another.

I guess he was comfortable he gps'd between 92.7 and 94.3 in the 4 races. He was the pace boat on the outside for the Comp. Jets. C/J 511
