Yes its time to start thinking about this. The days are getting longer, the weather will be getting warmer soon. And you haven't done jack squat to your boat all winter because its been too cold.

Aside from the mandatory pre-season maintenance, what are your plans for your pride and joy prior to it hitting the water in the next few months??

I'm thinking of clamping on a little 25HP OB so I can at least putt around a little until I can afford to get her a new heart LOL...NOT!

Taking the boat out of storage after over a year and get it river ready again. I can keep it at the new house since there isn't an HOA. Should have more time to work on it since I don't have to tow it back and forth from driveway to storage anymore.

Don't visualize a boat with a fan on the back. Instead visualize more like an air guitar (or an imaginary friend). :D

can you post a picture of an air guitar? No, because it is imaginary in the the mind of the person "playing" it. "Air" boat is the same concept. Meaning I have been working hard on my "Air" boat that doesn't exist. They say if you have to explain a joke, it isn't a very good joke. :D

I need to repair my broken steering cable. Probably upgrade it to a dual cable setup for safety reasons. Of course when I'll get around to this is totally up in the air with all the other crap I've got going on. [emoji57]

OooooooooooLALA...

I think it may be warm enough to drag my heap out Saturday and wipe her down/clean out the dust and get ready for work... IF it's warm enough it will be short lived... I hope to have it in my cousins shop before the next round of bad weather...

Looking at a Villa at LOTO, didn't want to spend this much cash, but I may pull the trigger on this one in the next day or two, we've got to be ready for the Summer boating season.

Thanks to Dustin at Menace Marine, my float is almost ready for the summer. Put new carpet in, hydraulic steering, new throttle cables, 4 new mushroom cleats and removed the bow rail. Taking it to Wired For Sound in Murrieta on Friday to get the audio work done and then the interior goes back in and we are ready for the lake. Last thing to really do before the season is take it back to Dustin for a stainless rub rail.

In door our outdoor? I have a spot where my boat is at in upland. It's outdoor but it's only $385 for 6 months in a 24ft spot.

It's outdoor. It's that upland dry dock place. $89 a month, 25 feet back in.

I know exactly where that's at. Mine is at upland RV storage behind the do it yourself car wash on foothill between baker and grove. Right by Vince's.

We can boat all year and here I am getting wound up to boat back at LOTO, I love that Lake.

I've got someone all lined up to come haul the Formula back up North before the end of April, gotta be ready for Summer.

Some of it...I put everything on the list so I would check em all. Cleats were through-bolted with back up plates. Bimini hardware (installed by Custom Canvas I assume) was not. Some of the screws are too close to edges in confined areas for nuts. I'm bringing a small grinder out this weekend to make some room to do it right.

Schiada??? Never heard of it:biggrin:

Had to remove driveshaft/flexplate/coupler and pull the engine so that I could do some work on the bellhousing.

The starter nose for the gear reduction starter wouldn't fit into this bellhousing. Also had to find the separator plate to index the starter. The black plate in the photo is essential on a FORD to have proper starter gear to flywheel engagement, IF you get this right your starter drive will last a LONG time on a FORD.

51328
It's time to bolt it all back up and start wiring this biotch...
51329
Solid 1/8" clearance now on the starter drive...
51330
This bellhousing originally had bolt on feet which I didn't want...
