View Full Version : In Need of Some Positive Thoughts, Please
My younger sister graduated from law school in May and took the California bar exam in July. In a little over an hour she will get her results.
My older sister and I passed on our first attempt and it would absolutely devastate her if she doesn't pass. Truth be told, it will snap me in half and I will completely crumble if I see disappointment in her beautiful big eyes.
Please throw some positive thoughts and prayers her way. I'm confident she's very smart and she passed. But, it can't hurt. Thank you!!!

Passing The Bar on the first try is impressive however failing is no reason to be heartbroken or puke. Remember persistence will always pay off in the end $$$.

Well I must admit I wasn't this nervous when I was waiting for my bar results. Not because I thought I'd pass, but because she's my baby sister and I can't handle it when she's sad.
I know failing isn't a reason to be heartbroken, but she always feels like she has to do everything like my older sister and I. It's just pressure she puts on herself...which trickles down to us.
I'm gonna see if I can find a percentage for the pass rate. My preliminary search actually informed me that results come out at 6 not 5.

She's smarter than me...so although I'm shaking nervously I do believe she passed.

I remember meeting her at New Years last year. Nice young lady, and I'm sure she'll do fine, even if she has to take it again.

I did look...I knew JFK Jr. Took the NY Bar 3 times. I was surprised that Hilary was on the list and a few others whose names I can't recall thanks to my third skinny margarita.
Is it 6 yet??

It's hard to pass the bar, when my Daughter was going through it we were on pins and needles, so I know what you guys are going through, she passed the first time, thank god, I couldn't do it twice, you would have thought it was me.............good vibes to your Sis, she'll do fine.

Thank you!!! It's so much harder when it someone you love. She's 10 years younger than me so it's almost like she's my baby.

Yay!!! That's my girl!! She was so nervous she wanted to be alone. I looked it up at the same time and when I called her...it was so wonderful hearing her say "I passed".
My mother must be in ecstasy!!! I'm so excited I can't contain myself!!! I think I'm more excited then when I passed the bar!!

OMG so you know the stress! She's on cloud nine!! I can't wait to see my mom. She must be so thrilled. Most people have no idea what my mother had to do to get the three is us where we are!!! Props to the best mother in the world!!
