I am thinking this will be served at Thanksgiving this year!
Hell I may do it this weekend just to try it!

HE INGREDIENTS YOU'LL NEED:

Frozen Pie Crusts – 2 (9” each or make your own )
PIE FILLING:

Pure Pumpkin – 1 can, 30 oz.
Evaporated Milk – 1 ½ cans, 18 oz.
Eggs – 4
Sugar – 1 ½ cups
Salt – 1 teaspoon
Ground Ginger – 1 teaspoon
Ground Cloves – ½ teaspoon
Cinnamon Whiskey – 6 oz.
FOR SERVING

Whipped Cream
DIRECTIONS:

"AND IT'S REAL EASY TO DO!"

GETTING READY

1. Bring grill temperature up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

CRUSTS:

2. Follow directions on package of frozen pie crusts.
3. Using a fork, poke small holes all around pie crust.
4. Place pie crusts on grill opposite hot coals for 15-20 minutes. Cover grill.
5. Be sure to follow cooking times on the package of your frozen pie crusts.
6. Remove crusts from grill and reduce heat to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.

PIE FILLING:

7. Crack eggs and put in a mixing bowl.
8. Whisk and combine sugar, salt, ground ginger, ground cloves, pure pumpkin, evaporated milk, and cinnamon whiskey.
9. Thoroughly mix ingredients.
10. Pour mixture to the top of each pie crust.

MAKING

11. Grill temperature should be 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
12. Place pies on grill opposite hot coals.
13. Cover grill and cook for 25-30 minutes.
14. After 25-30 minutes, remove cover and rotate pies a half turn for even cooking.
15. Cover grill and cook for another 20-25 minutes.
16. Remove cover and check pies for doneness. Place a tooth pick into center of each pie and remove. If they come out clean, pies are done. If the pie sticks to toothpick they are not done. Continue cooking until you get a clean toothpick. If you don’t have a toothpick, use your Old Hickory knife to check.

FINALIZING

17. Set pies on cooling rack to cool down.
18. Cut pies for serving.

SERVING

19. Top with whipped cream.
20. Sit back, relax, and enjoy!

How could you ruin pumpkin pie like that? The Pilgrims will haunt you.

Kim hates me trying stuff like this...I have a tendency to completely destroy the kitchen with ingredients lol
You managed cupcakes well, I'm sure this will be nothing!

You have great skills! No reason to spend time making a crust when you can buy one 😉

I stopped baking 25 pounds ago 😱

How did it turn out?

And how do you like that stove? Our kitchens look similar, galley style K & B circa late 80's. During the height of the market we were going to sale our pad and I replaced the stove with a cheapo, it works but fine, but I cook a lot and am thinking about an upgrade. I hate my kitchen, so f*in small.

Turned out good....there is a warmth after you eat it but it's good.
Our home was built in 2002. We upgraded the fridge micro and just did the stove this year. I bought it online at goedekers.com. Beat sears and Home Depot and best buy by $400 and they offer free delivery. I love Samsung appliances.

Nice, I would kill for that center burner for a griddle/grill pan. Front left burner is high output(?), what is the right front? Do they burn hot, I need more firepower :D

My kitchen...if you move to the stove to the right...that's my kitchen space. Literally, a stove wide, counter space and that's it. But, I've been thinking about a higher performance, standard size stove.

Yes front left is high output for a wok and center is for griddle. Griddle came with the stove (not pictured) as well as the wok adapter thing (pictured on the back left. It's basically something the wok can sit on.
The broiler is on the top shelf of this stove and the bottom is a warming drawer.

Think it was $1250 only.
Oh yah it's convection and we really like how the center shelf is on rollers and pulls out.

Double nice! Wifey is a baker, when we first moved in our stove was an over/under with two ovens (second oven where the micro is). It wasn'y a quality unit, but it worked fantastic.

On the pie, would you do it again, and is it family friendly?

I'm not a huge pumpkin pie fan but I would do it again. There is about 3-4 shots in each pie. Can't really taste the booze but it is warm on the back end like a little kick. I'm not sure if the actual alcohol cooks out but it's not like you are going to feel anything from a slice....if that makes sense.....I guess to answer your question IDK lol

Kim is yelling at me that NO it's not family friendly lol probably best to listen to the woman lol
