Havasu this weekend [Archive]

I promised myself I would get my boat on Havasu this year. And I just noticed this is my last weekend I'm available to go until it's to cold. So I just booked my room at the nautical.

I was hoping it was an off weekend, but just noticed there's a monster bash poker run going on? I have never heard of it. Had anyone been to this event?

Reason why I'm asking is my boats only 19ft and I dont wanna get swallowed alive out there.. So any info would be great lol

You will be fine. Its a big lake. All size boats are in this poker run. Some are big though. Not sure how many. Maybe 30-40. Its held at the Nautical.

We go watch Monster Bash every year, it's a good time. We'll be out Friday night, and probably go down the lake a ways to watch the poker run on Saturday :thumbsUp:

Far as I'm concerned Monster Bash is the best one to particapate in, more laid back. We did it 2 years ago in our Toon, had a great time. Tonight is the costume party,,, I'll be there in costume. Had a good time last night at registration.

Here's another picture of that boat.. The newspaper this morning said that a man was injured, but we were listening to the scanner when it happened and they were saying it was a small child with burns to the legs. 😞 either way, hope everything turns out ok.
