Tried this on a hunters forum, got my ass chewed. I guess they didn't see the humor in it that I did. Makes me think if the son in law was really trying to help or just trying to speed up the inheritance.

The real question is which came first?

So if Wilf was hunting elk, why didn't he shoot the bear when it first appeared? I never knew an experienced hunter and back woodsman that didn't carry a weapon. Not that a Grizzly won't still attack, but.....

Mannnnnnnnn, it's possible that after the ole griz got done with Wilf Lloyd he wished he was dead... Imagine your life ending up in a pile of grizzly bear dung in the woods...

True story, 25 years ago my 3rd cousin shot and killed his own grandpa that was over 300-400 yards away (down range) through thick woods while they were deer hunting... It happens...

We have had other hunting/gun related accidents within my large extended family.
