We decided last minute to go up to Tahoe this weekend. Here's a few pictures.

Out back at Lennon manor.

We decided to head over to the Beacon and have dinner and a few Rum Runners. It was a beautiful sunset.

The next day we woke up, grabbed the boards and headed over to Sand Harbor to meet a few friends. The water there is incredible....you can be in 40'+ of water and see the bottom like it is 2' deep. I did not touch up the color on these pictures and quite frankly they don't do the place justice. I had planned on strapping the GoPro to the bottom of the board but the camera crapped out for some reason....maybe next time.

This was only Kate's second time out on the board, she did really well considering how rough it was at times.

One more...

This scared the shit out me at first.:schreck: Somebody thought it would be funny to send down an anchor in about 15' of water and attach a head to it that floated about 5' under the surface.

After paddling we decided that we wanted to make a deposit:swear so we dropped off the boards and grabbed our stuff from the house and moved to the Casino. Our room had a decent view of the stage that Rascal Flats and Sheryl Crow were playing on. Had a great time.

There are parts of Sand Harbor where the water temp is in the 70's.
