Somehow I turned it on and can't figure out how to turn it off. My guess is its been that way since I did an update a couple weeks back. It's a faint crescent moon at top of phone. I checked google but I don't understand or it's some other problem.

Swipe the phone from bottom to top which will bring up the following screen. Then click the moon.

When the phone is locked, you should be able to press the center button to show the clock.
At the bottom of the screen you be able to "thumb up" a menu....Swipe your thumb going up. Across the top of the menu bar, you should see the crescent moon.
It will probably be lit up. Just click it and it will turn off..

Thank you both! I forgot about swiping up. ;)

Lol, I somehow turned on the portrait orientation lock on a few months ago and had no idea what was going on! With it on, I couldn't get on Hotboat for days. Then I just looked up the symbol and figured out what was up.

I have my "do not disturb" set to come on at 11 p.m. and turn off at 6:30 a.m. ever since I started the group text thread on here.:smackhead

Lol!! I know! But, I do love the touch screen, I just don't like the fact that there are so many things that you can select "by mistake" and not even know it!

I wish. Alarm actually goes off at 5:15 every morning to hit the gym. I take it off the DND when I get up but for the slim chance I'm still sleeping and all the kids are still sleeping as well, I don't want to risk the email notifications going off and waking people up.

Solution. Get a Droid.

I'm considering a position with A pple, so I recently switched over to an iPhone. Gay, gay...gaybob phones.

Point A------to------B. Why do they continue to structure an entire OS around a paranoid, micro-managing idealist? :D
