I agree Bobby! As I watched it happen I feared he was hurt bad or worse. Unbelievable that he's fine. It probably doesn't hurt that Robby is in great physical shape.

I have a ton more pics to post. What I've posted so far is raw, straight off the camera. Did not have time to clean them up, so I'll do that over the next week or so while I'm on vacation. It was good to see you Vic! You looked kinda tired when I saw you and now I see why. You were giving that camera a workout! It was great to finally meet the fabulous Eli! Your warmth made my day!

My favorite parts of the weekend were

1. Andrew's charge at Rank Daddy in the sunday GN final.
2. Aussie races against our GN's. Really fun to watch even though the best race would've been against SS-80. Still cool though...
3. Don vs Lopresti sunday
4. 1st 2 laps of the sunday K final.

Yeah sorry Jerry, I was a little out of it and stressed to a code blue all weekend for many reasons. Good seeing you again. I still have a boatload of pics I need to post. Thanks for the moho pic, the eyesore looks pretty good from the other side, always appreciate getting these for my albums.

A couple of those heats lasted for an eternity. Standing in the sun taking pics was brutal. I can't imagine how the drivers do it.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Our best powerhead took a dive first thing Saturday. After trying to sort it out for a bit we swapped out the powerhead to the spare. It ran all weekend but it doesn't produce the power needed to hang with the back. We were 6-7 mph down from the rest of the back so I pretty much drove around all weekend and got passed continuously. It happens. I'll have a new powerhead ready for the next race in San Diego.

The engines are all 80's and early 90's fishing engines bolted up to Omc racing mid sections and lower units that were produced about the same time. SeaWay Marine out of Washington state is saving the class by casting new blocks, mid sections and powerheads as well as stocking replacement parts.

Vic, the funny/sad thing about choosing this boat for your comment is that the SE 56 boat is driven by Paul Grichar and that arm he is steering with doesn't work.....

So just before this shot, he would have used his left arm to pick up his right arm and place it on the steering wheel so that he could wave with his left....

You sure that you want LA drivers to be so friendly and then drive with a dead arm?
