Interesting how much boating is different out East. 1998 Rapidcraft Cat, 454 with an outdrive :smilies_mit_hut019:

Thinking it would look better with a pair of whackas hanging off the back.

Would have a triple axle trailer out here on the west coast as well!

I think I'd go with tandem duals on a boat that size.

It's a different sound than the 2.5, maybe a tad bit throatier... throw a pair of them together and it's music!

Yup, my biggest regret, not putting up more $$ and getting X engines.
Mine would do better with 15" mids, but doesn't sound like anyone is having good luck cutting the XS's. They don't run right afterward from what I've read.

...almost forgot, a pair of short 2.5's is an awesome sound, especially drags. ;)

With what they're doing with the 4 strokes these days though, it's hard to beat.

I've never understood the concept behind putting multiple outboards like that on a cat. Had a buddy with a Skater with 3 outboards on it, and it really wasn't much faster than a dual outboard boat with 1/3 more fuel, oil, and maintenance to take care of. Between the hydro and aerodynamic disturbances, you may as well not have a cat in the first place.

Then there's this guy in Texas. Getting rid of this Skater.

Oh and his Lambo Gallardo :smilies_mit_hut019: Kinda off topic but it is nimble as a cat :shhh:

Who wants a canopy boat anymore? Wrap around windscreens are the new shiz!

Beautiful boat! No way in the world would I ever get an offshore boat on a steel trailer though, especially a Cig.

Nice quad axle trailer! Not sure about putting Bravo drives behind a diesel though. On that big of a boat, they might live for a while as you'd be hard pressed to get that thing anywhere close to out of the water. 350HP means at least 600+ ft lbs of torque on the very conservative side, but likely closer to 750-800 depending on what they are. To have 3 of them? I'd guess Yanmar or something on the smaller side, maybe a 12 valve Cummins, but that would be a tight fit.

Here's a 50' with turbines and #6's hanging off the back. Again, on a steel Myco trailer. Tandem duals are always a good way to go.
