in the ol days on a big weekend you'd think it was a two lane road going to the River only, oh that other lane was suppose to be for people leaving the River................:yikes:

The storms on Tuesday were pretty big. We had a great lightning show Tuesday night in Parker and a few of our group were turned around at Rice Rd and re-routed to Ehrenburg Rd.

I always take Ehrenburg. Is Rice Rd. quicker?

without speeding on either its about 15-20 minutes shorter. Depending on when you drive it there can be some dumbasses that think there's a checkered flag at the river for them. In other words you want to stay alert while on Rice. I just make room for 'em and help boost their ego's:applouse:
.
.
biggest bonus is you don't have to scrub your cars radiator and front end of a zillion dead yellow butterflies

A little. But I enjoy the peaceful Ehrinberg route way better. Less stress. Lol

I find it an easy drive as well as it is nice and flat. I hardly every get traffic or stuck behind someone when I take Ehrenberg.

Only thing you gotta worry about is the occasional tractor to pass. :D
