My truck is safe, but since I am sitting in a GMC dealer picking up a 2015 Yukon making me think twice.

However the 2011 Escalade has been in the shop 3 times in 2 weeks (the Traction Control and StabiliTrack keep going out in Havasu, but work fine at home in Carlsbad) so I don't think I am going to change my mind.

Stabilitrac on yours too? I've had mine in numerous time both under warranty and after. Really sore subject here bc it always seems to cost what my deductible is on the extended, example; $250 deductible on a $500 repair. Last time they told me it was bc my battery level dropped below required minimum and they wanted >$500 to replace both batteries bf they can accurately diagnose the problem. :(

Yes. However it only occurs in Havasu, never had an issue in Carlsbad. Started last year in Sept and every trip since. Had enough that today I dropped it at service walked across the street and leased a fully loaded 2015 Yukon. Every option a Denali has but the SLT is 15k less.

Nice, let's see some pictures of it.
I want a new pickup so bad, but mine only has 40K miles and is an '09 pre DPF fluid. Hard to justify a new one since they still look very much the same.

If I get the courage up I'll be looking at a F-150 with Eco-boost too.

Forgot, Stabilitrac error light comes on if I hit a bump or turn sharp.

Sure is. Got no use for it since selling the fifth wheel and going to a MoHo. The only thing I use it for now is to get a Christmas tree.

I will post pic later tonight or tomorrow - all paperwork is done, but the detail needed to be completed so I pick it up at 7.

Still in shock on how much SUV's are. In 2011 I got a Premium Escalade (price was 69k after negotiations and rebates). The 2015 Yukon was 64k (got it under invoice and had a couple rebates). When we priced out the 2015 Denali I was looking at 76 (after rebates and delivery was 6 to 8 weeks) and the 2015 Escalade was going to be 86k (and delivery in 3 to 4 months).

Jeez, 86K for an Escalade?

Looks like GM is marketing them to Hollywood and sports figures.

Prices are crazy. No way was I going to pay that. Sales person told me they are trying to complete with the Lexus and Mercedes market. The sales person was the one that walked me through all the models and down sold me to the STL. I walked in wanting the Cadi and basically walked away saying it is not worth another 20k IMO.

This the list of failed U.S. auto makers, and GM rightfully deserves to be on the list. None of these were saved with the tax payers billions.
