Good morning :D
What make is that boat Paul? Doesn't quite look like DCB or Eliminator unless the panoramic shot is throwing me off.

Paul, can you ask him how many hours he will run the Ilmors bf a freshen up? Should be significantly more than a comparable super charged V8?

CH3NO2Sure....he just bought the boat and it has ~130 now.....apparently when you do the refresh the difference in kit price to go to the 700's is only a few thousand dollars a side so he's probably going to do the refresh/upgrade just so he knows where his starting point is as he plans to keep the boat for a while.

So there is a stage 1 kit coupled with a fuel delivery modification that will bump the 625 to 650. You can also convert them to 700 on a full rebuild. AJ was saying like at 400 hours. Boat drove really nice. I am excited for the new owner of my 27 as well. Not sure of his screen name but I believe he is in the DLB.

That is awesome - he has wanted one for years. Are you guys going to be out on Memorial Day?

Thanks Paul. Maiden voyage a success. Spoke to my wife. Said she regretted Palm Springs shopping instead of boating. :D

I don't think we're gonna be out. Probably start making our normal trips a week or 2 after memorial. I'm sure my brother will be itching to get out here soon though to run his new ride.

Very nice boat, on my phone it is hard to see it's a F29, apologies. Are the V10's a better fit as far as width in engine compartment(not sure if Ilmores are 90* V's)?

You may want to look into the water pressure (or lack thereof) on the starboard bullet. Seems like throughout the pictures, that one runs consistantly lower than the port side.

Looks great Sam!

Beautiful boat. The 29' is probably my favorite sized F series. 32 too big, 26 too small. Should have bought one when I had the chance.

Congrats!!

Thanks - yeah the water pressure was not matching on both. When we first fired it the starboard side was a little low until underway. It is always something :D. On my eliminator keeping pressure to the XS was pretty hard. It diverted pickups on turns so you were pretty much straight lining it.

Yeah the 32 adds lot of freeboard and height on the trailer. You are not putting a 32 in a 8 foot garage door. Not to mention the power / drives to run it. Completely different class. I dig the 26 as well.
