Going to Havasu for 4th of July weekend got a quote on a pontoon boat for Saturday of $800.00 daily rate with a 3 day min. Ouch is this the going rates for holiday weekends at lake Havasu?

$800/day seems high but I'm sure due to the Holiday. But 3 days? yikes. That should cover the monthly payment for 2 years :D

Back when I was unreasonably compensated for my services, I purchased a few toons for less than $2500

I bought one for $800 that actually ran. It also had a sound system that was valued around $3K

After that one I bought another one for around $2000 that actually did pretty good. Other than a max speed of around 17mph it was a pretty good boat.

Wow, $800/day, that's robbery. Even if you split it 8-12 ways that's still crazy. Hope you find a better deal.

You can buy this one for $1100 :D Rentals on Craigslist are $395 p/day here in socal.

idk if these are the same places you've called, but you might check. $250/day in Havasu.

Wow that is stiff. I figured 2-3 a day. 800 A day I would buy something and then sell it after the weekend.

I used to rent a pontoon from AZ motor sports for memorial weekend a few years back. There was always a 3 day min but I think our 28ft rental was 500 or 600 per day

I'm sorry that these guys in Havasu are trying to take advantage of you..................just to show you we're not all like that I'll let you use mine for the weekend for only $775 a day :hilarious:


Seriously did you try Got Water Rentals.....ask for Vaughn. I bought my boat from him and he also runs a rental business and seems to be a reasonable guy. If you need some help let me know and I'll go by and try to talk to him or someone else for you if you think it might help.
