I wouldn't mind if it was M-T, having to work FSS would not be fun though.

It would definitely take a lot of adjusting, that's for sure. I wouldn't mind going to & from work because there would be no traffic but It would obviously be a lifestyle adjustment being up all night and sleeping during the day, I can't imagine that ever gets easy to do, especially because it's much noisier during the day? I know a nurse that works at a hospital and her shift is 11pm-7am.. The complete opposite schedule as mine. Lol

Another thing that sucks about the night shift. People forget/ can't comprehend, that your working when they sleep, and call or stop by during the day when your sleeping.

That's not only applicable to the night shift workers. I had to start putting my phone on do not disturb so people's texts, phone calls, PMs, etc. wouldn't wake me up 10pm-4:30 am. Good thing is very few people know where I live ;)

I work 1:00pm to 9:30pm and my wife (RN) works 7:00pm to 7:00am.
Traditional 9:00- 5:00pm or anything close to that sucks balls and here's why. Traffic is shit, you can't get much done after work because many business's close by 5:00 and you're either still at work or stuck in traffic and waking up early to an alarm clock whick also blows.
On top of that, most jobs pay a little (or a lot) more to work swing hours.:action-smiley-035:

I worked a graveyard Sun to Thursday warehouse job for 6 months. It took sometime getting used to because I also worked a construction day job. So averaging 3 hours a sleep took a few weeks of getting used to. Looking back I don't know how the hell I did that.
Me too :)
