Not sure if John Cost is a member on here, but if he is then pass me the popcorn cuz it's about to get good.

Lots of mud as been thrown about why this boat broke where it did.

Doesn't sound like it. Here is a blurb from what John said shortly after the wreck "...., ARS Marine, who substituted hardware store Styrofoam insulation for the structural marine PVC foam we specified for the composite hull. This could not be seen by our team because it was hidden under black fiberglass cloth!"

I'm not sure what the end result was but I do know John is working on finishing a new boat.
