Well I did end up stuffing the can up the chickens ass and it turned out great! BTW I thought the chicken would drink the beer while cooking LOL that is why I left it out!!

I found that 24 hours is too stiff with my brine mix. We go about 12 hours now on whole chickens with a strong brine.

The chicken came out great as I recall. Took a little more time to cook than originally expected. Lucky we had other food and many drink options

Any pics of Topock ? or was the water low again ? I slammed the sandbar last winter, it sure looks different I didn't even recognize it. Damn boat didn't like not having any water underneath it. There was only one other boat out there, props to those fishermen, otherwise it would have been a long week.

Well, we were try'n to come down for a couple days but,.... the motor home broke a fuel line and was leaking,... they have ordered two new ones both cracked...
what the hell was ford think'n ....plastic fuel lines?????
oh well ford says after Monday now and hopefull that they can fix it....
