Well, it's time to start the next road trip. House sitters / In-laws are here so it's time to roll. No dogs on this trip. Can't estimate the mileage as I'm not really sure where I'm going or what days I'll be there. Heading to Havasu the first night. If you see/pass me, give a little honk. Sticker is on the driver side so easily visible as you fly by me!

Cool, will all your camps be with hookups or are you dry camping? Reason I'm asking is I'll be dry camping next weekend 3 days/2 nights. Other than taking navy showers is there anything else to be concerned with? I have genset on board.

Last night was dry but most places we go will be hookups. We dry in this thing and it's not an issue. Water is always the only issue and as long as that is under control, all else falls into place. Our ToyHauler had 150 gallons of fresh so with that thing we could even splurge a little. This class A......not so much.......

Being on the island does make me miss the sound of waking up to the sound of morning speed runs. Love the sound of big HP running around!

Yeah. Learned that from the last trip in Utah. It was 86. Had a massive tail wind the entire ride leaving Albuquerque on the 40. Made awesome time and awesome power. Was actually supposed to stay in Albu but kept going as I was feelin good.

Yeah it's definitely not the most economical way to travel. It's about the adventure, especially with four kids. Take your time and map out a slower trip if work allows. I do all the driving and my wife handles all the crazies in the cab.

Shhhhhh. I don't want a mutiny on board. There's a reason no firearms are allowed on ships. We definitely pack on our trips and glad we do, especially through the sites in eastern Arizona where it's all Indian land where you camp. More on that with the end-trip summary.

Yeah. It was 7.3 last time so maybe I'm breaking it in a little. That's just an estimate as I didn't want to start with a full tank in CA, just enough to get me to AZ where it was cheaper.
