I run one. My brother had a 19' dana and that boat would do a 360 if you pitched it hard, we installed the fins on the bottom of the boat and the one on the jet and fixed that problem.

I went ahead and installed one tonight, docks and trailers have to be easier with it.

Makes a difference at low speeds not critical though

Here in Alabama, after a hard rain there can be debris like logs floating and hidden just below the surface.
Jet Fins (Rudder) and these do not mix well, especially at high speeds

I put a rudder on my first boat. I was new to boating and new to jets. I really thought it would help with low speed. It did, I guess...but I still took it off.

Then when I got my tunnel, I thought I'd need one. So I put the rudder I had left over on it. I took it off at the end of the day.

Bottom line for me: they do make a difference, but it's not night and day. It was helpful when I was first learning - kind of like training wheels. Once I got "done" with the tunnel, I tried it again to test. It cost me 3 mph on the top end.

Heading out tomorrow night for Parker, I'll let you know how it worked for me. If it doesn't make parking at foxes and trailering it way easier it's gonna get pulled. I figured i'd never know if I didn't try one.

So what was the verdict?

So what was the verdict? It sucked in every way, it ruined the steering at speed and didn't do shit on docking or putting it on the trailer. It came off as fast as it went on.
