Do you work the day after Thanksgiving?

No, we work Veterans and take Friday after instead.

Yep. The only days we dont work are Christmas day, New years day, Easter and Thanksgiving.

This year, the entire family will be gathered at our middle daughter's home for our ritual Thanksgiving day bike ride followed by dinner and the day after we're all headed up to the mountains to our property to play in the cold country.

Of course, the Saturday afterwards, like each and every one of the members here, we'll be at the Blue Water Casino circle boat races. :D

The original Thanksgiving was a feast to celebrate the colony's first successful corn harvest. It took place in November over a period of three days and was celebrated with the Wampanoag Indians.

Then everyone went to the Mall.

Used to be a company holiday.....no more. They gave us an additonal day of vacation and took away the friday so yeah, I'm off but had to use a V-day.

Congrats, I can't imagine having to work the day after unless your in the service field i.e. LEO, Fireman, EMS, or the Military. Thanks to all those that have to work any part of this weekend!:)

I didn't work on Friday and don't usually work that day...however I am usually forced at gunpoint to put up the Christmas lights. LOL. So yesterday was spent putting up Christmas lights and working on some continuing education for professional licensing.

I know my response is very late, but yes, we did work the day after, and it was extremely slow. Many of us, including myself, left around 1:30-2pm. Normally we would work well past 6, so it's a day we could probably be closed.
