What's up ladies and gentlemen. Old Mouzer told me where y'all were hiding.
Ditched the Flat Foot'n since that boat is long gone. Just keeping it simple now.

Question for from someone that doesn't know a thing about building boat...
Why the triangle and circle cuts on the interior side of the boat? To reduce weight???
Oh yah and welcome to HB!

The stripes are actually a carbon/fiberglass weave we laid down, not a decal or airbrush trick. Along with the stringers and side boards. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/01/16/eba8y4aq.jpg
The side boards are to add rigidity and strength and the holes are for weight and access.
And thank you all for the warm welcome.

I just sold a desk to a couple last week and delivered it to them. He had seen my boat when they came to look at the desk. Got to talking to him and they're both in the reserves and he works with carbon fiber. He's offered to help me with the SWTD by doing a little carbon fiber work on my floor.

Oh yah and welcome to HB!
You really should have some kind of access to the side of the boat, for inspection or repairs or even running a water dump. Weight really doesn't play a part in that as it would be minimal savings and not necessarily desired. Some guys cut words or even chevy logos out of their side boards.
Welcome to HB Greg!
