Well, it is to me. Pirates Den has purchased Sundance Saloon, news has it the name won't be Sundance when it opens. Also they will be adding docks, so you can access easier from the water.

Well alrighty then! I know Jim Shubin had said they were in talks last summer but I haven't talked to them since August so wasn't sure.

Wow interesting... I know there are the Pirate's Den haters. I love it. Matter of fact my trailer was the first in storage when they first opened a couple years ago. 35/month..can't beat that most are 50/month. Lori in the office is the nicest lady.

They are so booked it's not even funny. I have a standing reservation for certain months until 2015. Actually I need to call her and book out for another couple years.

We love pirates den too! They are completely full. Great resort all and all. We also like the new Outlaw bar on the Cali side. Cold and cheap beer and Wine!

An update would be nice on Monday, Spoke to the Manager of Pirate's Den and they did not purchase Sundance. They purchased the old "Lizards on the River" on the California side and renamed it " Outlaws of Sundance". Which is exactly what I thought... It's the Sundance in the name that may be confusing people.

Good, Thanks Wendi what the hell you can't trust Facebook anymore. :biggrin: It's good to know that the Shubans are still rolling along with their Re- Opening. I talked to Nick in March and he has definite plans on how that place is going to operate, i'm glad it's still in the works.

Yeah they were really hoping to open last summer, but as summer came and went they decided to slow down and do things right for a grand opening sometime soon. I will still call Nick Shubin tomorrow and see how things are going. I will update the Sundance thread though once I speak with him.
