Went out looking for a plane but no such luck. We did stumble across what I think is an exposed well. It must have appeared within the last 24 hours and it's only accessible by water. It looked really deep. I might bring a rope back and drop the GoPro in it.

That looks like a weir box, be careful you could end up at the recieving end of a pump.

Can you explain what you mean? I'm curious. It's fairly close to the dam.

One of my friends on Facebook suggested that it might be an old outhouse? Thoughts? I stuck my paddle down probably about 8-10' and didn't touch bottom?

A weir box uses gravity to feed water to a water pump, kinda like those tall cylindrical concrete deals you see on a farm. In other words it looks like water drops into that box to feed a water pump and those bolts probably used to secure a safety screen. I would hate to see on the news that they are trying to get you out, like a kid in a well.
