Last night we had our newest addition to our family. My nephew Jayce. He was scheduled to be born 12/27. 6 lbs 7 ounces.

I grew up with 2 sisters and my mother. Although my BILs have been a significant part of my life for the last 10 years, Jayce is the first boy in our family. I'm so thrilled I cannot contain myself. I'll be heading to the hospital at 8 when visiting hours start!

Thank you everyone!!!!!! The best part about being an aunt is I get to spoil him and leave when the crying starts…I'm telling you there's not one maternal instinct in us ;)

I spent an hour and a half at the hospital and the only time he cried was when they poked his little foot for blood. I can't wait to see him again tonight!

Let's just say that when I called my sister to let her know I was stopping by this morning before work and all I heard was the baby crying I quickly said, "I called to let you know I'll be stopping by after work"

If I have to feed or water it, I prefer to give it back when I'm done ;)

Thank you! I'm hoping he's more like me than my sister when we were babies. Mother says I was the happy baby and my sister the cry baby.
