So who wears or use to wear Black Flys?

I remember back in the 90's when they first came out one my friends was really into them.

I bought a pair of their Sun Glasses but I have always been more of a Ray Ban guy. What I really remember them for is not so much for the quality of their Sun Glasses but for their brand. They are a Lifestyle brand (kind of a punk skate/surf/snow/moto kind of dealio). Though there are other companies out there that have been successful creating a Lifestyle brand, I thought Black Flys was really innovative with the marketing of their brand. Back in the day they would video tape crazy shit and then pass the tapes around. Basically, it was like a 30 minute go-pro commercial but R rated (hot chicks, motorcycles, snowboarding, parties). Guerilla marketing at it's best.

I think I may still have a pair somewhere. Used to wear nothing but Raybans. Then I switched to Maui Jims.
Now about the only thing I wear are Chrome Hearts. Love em.

I had a pair when I was 21...I went sailing and they flew off my head and it's probably still at the bottom of the San Diego Bay :(

Not to worry they were only $125. But my two pairs of Gucci glasses I lost Monsters Bash 2011 & 2012 are at the bottom of Lake Havasu!!! Now I refuse to but sunglasses :(

I thought I was the shit late 80's with my Vuarnets. Right now I have a pair of Revos I've had for like 6 or 7 years. I do a pretty good job of keeping track of my shades. :D

I wear Spys, Electric and Von Zipper. I like the Wayfarer style glasses. I do have a pair of Black Flys that I bought years ago in my garage that I use as safety glasses. I liked how they wrapped around my head so they wouldn't fly off if I turned my head while boating, but I also couldn't see out the sides as the were really boxy.

Black Flys kinda died out. Like SMP did.
