Starting new gig today

Starting the new full time gig today. I know, this is a bit of a LAM tread but I'm stoked. The last time the conductor of the Disneyland Band position opened up was 22 years ago. So, if you're at the Park during the Holidays or anytime after that, yell at me. I answer to most anything!

The last time I went in 2012...I made it all the way to ESPN Zone...then I got side tracked. But, I'm going to be going soon! Now, I have a scavenger hunt to participate it when I go, it will make it much more fun!

I've been the assistant conductor for the past 7 years so I played in the band about 80 percent of the time, and conducted the rest. We rarely perform in DCA unless it's for a special event.

Does the park still do the parade (procession) of choirs? Many years ago at Christmas time the park hosted local church choirs that made a procession down Main Street with single lit candles and sang traditional Christmas songs....still happen?

Yes, it's the first weekend of December every year. Here's a pic from last weekend. Blair Underwood was the narrator on Saturday and Kurt Russell did Sunday's shows. A very cool show IMO. :thumbup:
