Nope! I did the "Black Friday" thing ONCE many years ago... got up at 3:30 a.m. and was the mall by whatever time it opened, it was still dark and I'm pretty sure I was sleep walking. The things I bought weren't even "special purchase" items. I love shopping, but Black Friday ain't for me! We'll be at the river this weekend... I hope to be doing "Desert Bar Friday"!

Who here will be partaking in the madness? I know I'll be running out on Thanksgiving to buy a TV as it will save me some $300.00. Maybe I'll buy two of them. Anybody else have any targeted buys they plan on making?I had a 50" LED TV picked out that I want for the outside patio.....so the great price was attractive since it will spend it's life outside.........but then I was at Wal-Mart last night and they had a better version of the same TV for only ~$100 more so I just paid the $$ so I wouldn't have to spend Thursday night waiting in line.......plus we'll have it outside for Thanksgiving as we're having 8-10 people over for dinner and that way some folks can sit outside and watch the game :thumb:

$488 for a 50" SmartTv.....ain't too bad considering I didn't have to fight the crowds :D

Yeah.....they were talking about that when I was there the other day.....basically if they have say 100 of something they have 100 wristbands to give out for that item....you can then shop for other things and they guarantee that they will have tat item available for you for 2 hours after the stated time (eg. 8PM items will be available till 10PM if you have the wristband).....in case anyone wanted to know how it was going to work :D

No quantity limitation. If they run out, you can still get it for that price as long as you take delivery before Christmas.

Which brings me to the next dilemma. So the 60" drops $300 but the 70" drops to the normal 60" price. What do I do?

I did the Black Friday thing once in 2010, that night my world spun and I learned more than I ever wanted but I'm glad it happened! I left Target with nothing except a lifetimes worth of knowledge.

I don't remember what it was called or if it was a Safeway when the center was built.
We shopped at Manor market in the 70's I didn't come out in the 80's and in the early 60's I was too young to pay attention.

I don't remember what it was called or if it was a Safeway when the center was built.
We shopped at Manor market in the 70's I didn't come out in the 80's and in the early 60's I was too young to pay attention.

Remember the PDQ? We used to always hit that market while the cars got fueled up across the street.

I would probably not be wrong in saying that's why they have offered early bf deals, staggered times for certain bf deals and the one hour gauranty.

I got the 70" at home. My girl was totally against it being so big but I said I NEED it. Now that it's up she loves it especially since she can watch it while she is in the kitchen making me breakfast and dinner lol

That's exactly what I do! I just buy something small for about 7 family members and about 2-3 very close friends. I take a few hours on a saturday morning in December and take care of it....:thumbup: Gift cards are also a great idea and very easy!:)

Not around here. What is Lucilles? They also have Sullivans Steak House at normal price, 2 x $50 for $79.99. I think Sullivans is local fare though.
