I'm not so sure you could call this my 1st job but I use to keep score at the bowling alley when I was 9 years old. My older brother schooled me and it taught me some valuable lessons at an early age. How to make money, how to save money and how to spend money. When the P.B.A. would come to town they immediately would question my ability to keep score because of my age but the house assured these guy's that I knew what I was doing. This also gave me a confidence booster growing up knowing that you can do anything if you put your mind to it and always ignore your doubters...

About 15 I worked for a janitorial service. I had the key to the local Smorga Bobs restaurant. I'd go there after hours and vacuum the dining room and hose the slop off the kitchen floor.
Oh, and they didn't keep the beer and wine locked up. ;)

My 1st W2 Job was at Del Taco in Upland. I was hired on my 16th birthday. I worked the register and cleaned bathrooms. Every time someone would order something "special" I had a nervous break down because I didn't speak Spanish. Therefore I couldn't relay it to a cook. My favorite shift was on Sunday mornings. Nothing like cleaning the parking lot of a Del taco after a night of drunks! That parking lot was covered in trash, condoms and vomit! I kept my shirt, hat and apron and they've come in handy for a last min Halloween costume over the years.

I frequent Eden East aka The Bar Wash (in the same parking lot) for a car wash and a cocktail and I noticed a "now hiring" sign and thought about asking for my job back. With a 50% discount on food, I can't afford not to!

I started cleaning construction sites for my neighbor when I was about 12 and mowed several yards. My first W-2 job was at an Egg Farm. I did various jobs around the farm after school. One day per weekend I took care of the 250,000 chickens, collected eggs (automated system), and did repairs on the equipment.

My parents had an Auto and Diesel Truck repair in Orange on Batavia and Collins. Started cleaning the shop and scraping gaskets at 10-11 years old. My first non family gig was Perry's Pizza, Pizza by the slice, across the street from the Seal Beach Pier. The OCTD bus stop was right there and all the little hotties would come over looking for hand outs before taking the bus home from the beach. I used to give away a shit ton of free pizza in the afternoon!

Not so good LOL. I was 15 and road my bike to work. I didn't have much game at 15, like most freshman, but I felt like a baller when the girls would all come over begging for pizza. They were like feral cat's, one day there was 1, the next day there was 4-5, by Friday, I was Big PimpIn, if only new how to do that. :smackhead
