Spending a couple days in central valley wine country. Best time you can have without a boat.

Did you go wine tasting?

It is a good time, but not THE BEST time without a boat ;)

Kalyra, Bridlewood, Firestone (meh), and a couple I can't remember due to the wine.

At Firestone I might as well have been at the Budweiser factory

You should do it bud. Feels like a world away but relatively close. ( well to me at least)

Help me out here. I might do this next weekend. I have never been....

Where to stay for a fri and sat night?

What spots to hit?

How are the cops after after a few tastes of wine?

Not looking to break the bank. Just a reasonable good time....

Solvang is probably the best place to stay. Many, many hotels. Most hotels have winery maps. Most are within a 15 minute drive from Solvang. Not many cops but if you are worried there are town car services that take you where you want. Eat breakfast at Paula's Pancake house in Solvang. Have dinner at Chumash casino. Get a players card and its free.

Bridlewood winery is my favorite for scenery. Kalyra winery is the most chill place. Can't go wrong with going to downtown Los Olivos. There are many store fronts featuring local wineries
