I can share a little. Britt is Gothalos tolerant GF :D Pixie is my SIL and isn't normally filtered, especially when her and Jack get together. Mrs. HB, Pixie's younger sister, also lacks a filter on occasion, go figure.

Hyatt Newporter yes. Actually had our wedding reception there. The rooms are very nice and they have a great little bar there as well!!

The Hyatt in Huntington would be nice for you because Main Street is right there and has a bunch if different restaurants and bars. Probably about a 15 min cab ride to Newport so still close. Newport Hyatt is on the back bay and is nice not as much right by it to do though.

The thing is we are all going to be driving down there so most of us are getting hotels. People are coming from as far as northern and central Ca, Palm Springs and San Diego. It would cost as much to can as just getting a hotel for the night for us.

I've narrowed it down to the Shorebreak and the Waterfront Hilton. In your opinion which one is nicer/updated? They are both about $250-275 a night for an Ocean view room.
Shore break is about 3 years old, The Hilton is about 15. The Hilton has a pool whereas shore break does not. If you and the wife want to be in the mix of things, stay at shore break. It's pretty classy and you can walk to whatever you. It's off main and they've got all newer shops on that street without the bar feel.

There is Yard House, Sutra, Black Night, Saddle Ranch, El Corrazon and a couple others. I prefer Black Night, then Yard House, then Saddle Ranch.
In that area, there are all kinds of little bars to hang out at.

The Blue Water Grill located at 630 Lido Park Drive is steps away from the boat. Most people, Vanessa said, go here for pre-drinks before we embark on our 4 hour tour. I need a couple volunteers to bring ice. I'm bringing plates, napkins and cups. They have bins for our ice chests that we can leave on the docks once we unload. We can also bring a couple on the boat. She also has an area for our buffet of appetizers. I'm getting to the boat at 5:30 to set up.
We still have open spots if anyone last minute would like to join.

Sorry to have to do this but so many people committed and then cancelled and I had adjusted the price to 50 initially. Right now we are short 2 people.
