I'm not sure if everyone knows the Key West offshore boat races are coming up next weekend and there's hundreds of boats and thousands of people going down to KW, it's a crazy time.

Anyway, here's a boat on a tilt trailer that had a little problem on the way down today, this isn't good, maybe the driver should have paid attention to the bridge height.

That's the problem with the big cats, they're so wide they can't be trailered legally flat on the highway unless they're on tilt trailers, then you have this problem to worry about, really sucks, big bucks to fix, plus you don't have your boat for the weekemd, bummer.

Yeah....can only imagine how not being able to compete!!

I see the big boats here during Desert Storm and they are so big when you see them on a trailer.....never really thought about how high they get on the trailers though.............looks like this driver didn't either

Ah come on. That will buff right out. Any detail shop can make that good as new.

I would hate you have been that driver making the call to tell the owner about this, geez, might be looking for a new job.

Exactly. couple rolls of white, couple red. One trip to the Home Despot, DONE right there in the parking lot! No need to even mention it to the owner.

Nothing a little duct tape won't fix.

What the owner really needs to do is pickup a couple new sponsors and some large ass stickers. Fix that baby right up.

Don't get carried away here Wheeler. That's the FAA approved stuff. Way more money than the marine grade.

Yes, it was a Grizzly. If you search for "bear attacks airplane" you'll find it.

Oh damn, I just had a horrific flash back. When I was a little tyke, my uncle(mother's brother) would baby sit me, he put me in my overalls and hung me in the closet, and closed the door. Now I need to make an appointment with my psychologist. Is their a Dr Eli PsyD?

You know it was some grinder boy driving the truck, I would have loved to be on the other end of the phone call when he called the owner.
"um we were driving down the HWY coming into town when someone lowered the bridge right in front of us":smackhead

You sure that's from Key West? That looks like a Europe race boat and some road in Europe.

Sucks to hit a bridge. Especially when you have a tilt trailer that you could just lower to clear it. LOL that dude should get fired.

That is exactly what I was thinking. Wonder if they would be able to tilt it down to go under bridge then just back up once through?
