My business bank now requires a 8 digit pin + another 6 digits (14 digits total) from a token ring that changes every couple minutes to login. Its like trying to hack in to Fort Knox. Without the Knox of course :D

Password Agent has a password generator that you can set up also which is pretty nice for things like this.

lol my IT guy gets pretty angry with me when I have him set up a new user and always, always have him set the password to password. You can't keep doing that, its going to cause problems, yada yada. So high strung, this isn't the FBI :D

Try "Password.1", then Password.2, etc.....this way you'll never miss it by more than a generation if you forget and you'll almost always get it right the next time......unless of course you've been drinking, in which case you shouldn't be using the computer anyhow.....only bad can come from this.....trust me I know from personal experience!!

PS....this also qualifies as a "Complex" password and will almost always be accepted unless you work for the NSA or some other security crazy organization :D

Funny thing is when I worked for a large multinational years ago, their IT people always pushed using at least one character like @. So their corporate IT password was Fishing@66. And it's still the same to this day LOL

When I was working on the refinery systems, they had the same arrangement with a key chain fob. You entered your 4-8 digits and they would send your log in code of 8 digits. Your 4-8 ID you as the user. You had 20 seconds to enter the pass code, when it popped up. If you missed, you had 4 attempts, and then had to wait 15 mintues. 4 attempt periods in 1 hr, and if you couldn't get logged on you were locked out and need to see the IT department before you could log on again.
