Old river/lake pics

Post up some classic (to you) river pictures.

Here's a few I'll start with.

1st one is my on my ulncles stand up. I was about 4 years old

2nd is the first boat I every drove and learned to water ski behind. This was my Grandparent's Tahiti jet boat. The picture was taken on Circle Beach.

3rd picture I really can't explain what's going on but it looks like we were having a pretty good time.

Looks like the good ole days:)

I now have 2 1995s 550sx's just for memories.
My 13 year old kid and his buddies enjoy them just like I did back then.

Yea they sure are fun! When I got my drivers lic and 1st pick-up truck, I'd drive out to the river with my stand up in the bed and run the piss out of my 550 with a few other friends that had them. Once I got a boat, I sold one and the other has been collecting dust in the garage. lol

My Uncle gave me the stand up in this pic when I was 15. It was stolen about 10 years ago and never recovered. :(

Me & Mrs. Skyskier's 1st "date" :encouragement:............amazingly, we STILL look the same :p...........kinda sorta, hair is a little grayer, a wrinkle or 2 on me, today, we're doing the river with our grandchildren an the kids of several of my nieces & nephews.

How far back you wanna go? This is 1966, Mead View Estates (by Temple Bar, Lake Mead) were being offered for sale. Included a river cruise up the Grand Canyon arm with lunch served up river. My Pops with the PBR in hand.

First time to Havasu was Spring Break 2000. Me and a couple buddies threw a tent and beer in the back of my truck and drove out not knowning where we'd stay or anything else. Found Crazy Horse and had a great time. Only three of us that year and fifteen the next year after everybody heard our stories. I haven't been there long enough to have old pictures. ;)
