Saw that yesterday could you imagine? They get up to 57 feet long. What if you were swimming in Catalina and that swam up to you?? Yikes

Holy crap! Off Catalina??? That's a little too close to home! That's one of the reasons I never swim in the ocean 'cause there's things like that swimming out there!

I had the good fortune of working in Havasu when it was being shot. That was about the only good part. :D

and you wonder why I don't want to take our boat out in the ocean??? Sticking by my rule...I will not go out on a body of water unless our boat is bigger than the fish...

People make fun of me for not getting in any body of water without my netted floating bed! Now I know I'm not the craziest one out there! I will NEVER do a prop check again!

I spazzed out this am when a some seaweed touched my leg while I was out surfing. If I saw that I'd have an instant heart attack!!!

LOL, I have the same issue with seaweed. I love the ocean and body boarding but I cant stand seaweed.
I am certified in scuba and will only do it when I vacation in Hawaii as I am scared to go around all the kelp beds here locally. lol...

I know what you mean, thats why whenever we are in the river/lake, we always have a DD assigned for each day.
That way we can rotate and not worry about getting popped for a DUI.
