A little home movie camcorder footage from Laughlin years back. This is heavily edited so I don't get in trouble. :indifferent0001:

Some of you might even be in this....

Yes sir! :) I took that Hondo everywhere. :D I ran it 14 years without ever needing a tow and actually, I towed in a Bayliner once. Makes me laugh when people say flatty's are useless and can only run early morning or late at night. :D

How's yours coming? Have you ran it yet?

Those are people that never drove a 18ft flat to Catalina and back pulling a skier

That's for sure! Not saying I have either, but most people don't believe me when I tell them about those days and I often end up having to prove it with literature and pictures.:coffee-n-news:

OMG....I was out there that year...a little further downriver though.....I remember I was between boats, and had just gotten married to my first wife. So my ex brother in law had a trailer in Parker, and we all went out there......he says, lets all go out in my boat for the afternoon. I said sure...so out we go to his enclosed garage, and he opens the door, and what do I see? Yeah, one of those inflatable rubber boats with an outboard motor on it. Kinda like this...

20895

So, I was expecting something else, not this. But, I gotta go along to get along, so I went out in it, and everyone, from one end of the fucking river to the other, made fun of us. He never noticed it, I did. I never went out in that boat again, and he turned out later to be a total asshole. Good riddance. A year later, I was gone.

We stopped doing Laughlin/Harrahs around 1991, used to be a hot spot. Not so sure it is anymore. Funny thing about that video, I saw two tats on dudes and zero on chicks. Interesting to see what 17-18 years does to a society.

probably more like 10 out of 10 but the fact remains that the boats can do it. :)

A couple years after that video they required beach users to show a room key. No more crowds...

Harrahs used to get out of control. Bumper boats, fights, people getting kicked out.

We loved it! lol

I was there this memorial weekend and it looked nothing like the video. Boy has times changed.

We started going to Harrahs when it was brand new lol. Used to be the nicest casino in Laughlin IMO. Beach was out of control on big weekends.

I still prefer Harrahs to other hotels in Laughlin mainly because the pool and the beach. Plus I am a total rewards member so it works out. I like out of control, too bad I wasnt around when it got big back in the day!
