Not sure if you knew but David Rankin went into the hospital a few days ago with chest pains. He was in ICU for a few days, moved to a regular room and will be undergoing surgery today to install a pacemaker. I just wanted to let you all know, as he is part of our boating community, and a really great guy! He is in great spirits and he is in our thoughts and prayers. We are wishing David a speedy Recovery. Get well soon David!!

I was just getting up to speed on his condition when I read this post. Our prayers are with Rank Fizzle. Hope things all go well and he will be back out soon. He is a big reason that the circle races didn't die with the crashing economy. Thanks Dave. Hang in there, buddy.

So sad. Dave is a great man. I feel blessed to know him, his family, and friends. He is a huge asset to the sport. We wouldn't be where we are today without him and Gordy. Our love and support goes out to him and his family. (And extended family) get well soon, buddy!

Just thought I would give you all an up date and let you know that everything went fine and Spankdaddie is recovering at home. Probably in the garage.
