Do you buy a new bathing suit / swimming trunks every season?

I'm guilty and usually buy 6-8 new suits every summer. I never pay full price! Between my home and river house I probably have 40+ suits after throwing away the real old ones. I have suits for the pool, suits for the river and jacuzzi suits.

I'm not sure why they cost so much. I pay $80-140. Mostly, around $120. It sucks! Obviously, not paying for the amount of material.

New board shorts about every other week. At the end of year they are donated. During the spring and summer, it seems that someone has a new bikini every week :) It seems that she wears them at lake and beach and then shifts them to pool and cuzzi. Then they are wrecked and prolly tossed.
