Sooooo, another rebuild on the K-034, this site wasn't around for the first one.. So here we go.. Whoooo. Lol. It seems scary, but it really is fixing the "flip factor" . Superior Fiberglass doing all the work!! Thanks Steve!!

He was hurt, just deep muscle and bone bruising, been off the crutches and cane for about two weeks now.. It threw him out clean then the boat landed on his legs.

The salt water does play a big factor in it! It's a number of things.. Not just the bottom. The dense water has been a demon to the boat, but should be more manageable at the salt water tracks, as well with the changes.

I'm not sure how long the original plate was ran before we purchased the boat, but we ran the same one since we got it, almost two years ago.. And it really wasn't bad at all, just figured.. If we are redoing most of it, may as well replace it.

With the blower, you don't need the hat forward to catch air, plus you don't want to be catching the water from other racers.. Keeps water out if the motor.

The boat is in the trailer right now, I'll snap a photo when we take it out. It is on the bottom of the boat to protect the bottom from the prop blast, the water ruins the bottom where it comes off the prop. The prop wash eats away at the fiberglass.

The only place that had the cav plate control arm that we have found, doesn't have any and has to make one. So, we'll see.. Want to test the next weekend if its done.

We have been fighting shit all week with getting the boat back together. Parts showed up broken, wrong parts sent, and finding more stuff missing and wrong. It's been a battle! Then the truck broke down last night. And it's windy as hell! 😩 WTF else?? Starting to look like we may not test today, we will see. I'll keep y'all posted.

The changes were VERY noticeable! Even from the beach! Chris loves the way it turns and rolls the nose over now.. He's going to have to learn to drive it all over again, but he's a quick learner. 😀 very excited for Parker racing!

Mrs.K I missed all the livestream racing today, but I wanted to know how you guys performed? and how the boat ran?

The whole crew worked hard, unfortunately.. With all the changes we made, the boat wouldn't handle.. We played with the plates with some help from friends and if the MSD box didn't go out, I Think it would have handled, I was looking good until it went out. Going to get a new MSD box now and put it in tomorrow morning. Should be a better day tomorrow.
