View Full Version : If you're gonna put them in a car seat, why not just leave them in the car?

If you're gonna get shitface and take them in the boat. Some people never cease to amaze me. I'm not saying I'm perfect, far from it. But I'm pretty sure I've never put my kids in the car seat then taken them out for a drunken boat ride. Seriously, a 4mo old & a 5yr old?? How much of a dumbass can you possibly be. I hope the bump on his head was big and hard enough to knock some sense in to him. Moron. http://fox5sandiego.com/2013/09/01/dui-suspected-in-mission-bay-boat-crash/#axzz2dlymoATV

Parenting unfortunately doesn't have any pre-requisites for IQ, morality or common sense.

Either does boating. There's a multiplier in there somewhere.

That LEO is gonna have some "splainen" to do..

1. Unsafe high speed maneuver in close proximity.

2. Leaving the scene?? Then coming back apparently, but he should have stopped immediately.

3. Then of course the "relax" comment. Wonder how it would have gone over if that was a civilian hitting a Coast Guard boat, then told the LEO to "relax"...
