If I had an extra $400K laying around (for a used one) I would seriously consider one of these beautiful machines. This particular boat (Rivarama Super) is a 44' boat powered by two MAN R6-800HP diesel engines. This monster cruises at 36kts and tops out at 44kts, that's roughly 41 to 50MPH. Pretty damn cool for a 44' luxury liner. And this is one of the smallest Riva currently makes. Riva has been around forever. Somewhere around 1842, and is still in operation today. They were involved in building and racing boats, as early as 1930. In 1989 they teamed up with Ferarri and built a 32' that was simply bad ass. Maybe someday when my home is worth what it was back in 2006 LOL. If you get a chance, check out their site. It really is loaded with a lot of history and some incredible machines. http://www.riva-yacht.com/visitors/index.php?lang=en HB 14906
