Has anyone made any trips, fresh / salt where and what?

we went out Sunday for a memorial service and them trolled for some Makos, ended the day for NADA... water was cold and green, no current really odd for what has been.

We have a trip planned for the end of September in SD. First Line I think. Dying to go fishing, just no time lately

I am on a 3 day trip on the Shogun out of SD leaving Sept 25th.
I am hoping the bluefin stick around.

Need to take my kids to a trout farm where I can guaranty a catch. They're good at casting, now they just need to experience the catch. Is that lake in Corona off the 15 any good?

Never been to one in Corona. However I remember my uncle taking me to Santa Ana River Lakes in Anaheim when I was a kid. Looks like they stock so fishing may be good there.

Corona Lake can be good, cost a boat load to get in and fish. Trout fun catching go up to the Santa Anna River off the 38 going to Big Bear, Seven Oaks. check the stock report via the DFW.CA.Gov site. its like shooting fish in a barrel.

The shogun is a great boat, the fish should stick around, also Albies are out there too.
