Can anyone really argue that Red Stripe is the true beer of boating?

I can argue that Dos Equis is. Even comes in a can if you search hard enough.

It's hard to argue with an ice cold Red Stripe, but when you need can't gran a bottle its hard to pass up an ice cold CL smoothie.

Tangerine Wheat is aslo high on that list.

I am going to get laughed off this forum, but I mostly drink Select 55. It's an acquired taste.:p

I'm not promoting this beer in any way. Had a chance to sample it in Morro Bay awhile back. Absolutely tasty beer.

Best beer in the Country is Pliny the Elder from Russian River Brewing. If you don't believe me, google it. The best beer for boating is Bud Light.

Pretty hard to name an exact favorite. It really just depends at the time. However a few beers that I've had on tap at home lately would be Racer 5, Ranger IPA and my Buddy's beer which is brewed in Irvine, GreatHead Brew Red IPA.

Every now and again or in the summer river heat I'll go with Coors Light or a Dos Equis Lager.

Im a big fan of the Old World Hef, but the Golden Chaos is also very good. Haven't given the pumpkin a try yet, I'll have to give it a second look next time I make a beer run.

As A teenager growing up in the midwest we would drink any beer we could find. I remember drinking some Old Style, Pabst, Old Milwaukee and one that was called Bullfrog. If we could get a Shlitz malt liquor we were living the good life! Now its just CL, steady and predictable!

Can't go wrong with the CL. Had an Ass.Kisser.vanilla pale yesterday, not too bad.

Great Head Brew. They aren't bottling yet (waiting for more funding). However, you can get it at a few local bars or buy a keg down at High Times. I have a keg in my house. I'll fill you a few sample bottles. ;)

Went and checked a local brewery, they aren't bottling yet but they do have $5 tours bring your own mug or $10 and get the glass below. All you can drink for 2 hrs. Best $10 spent ever.

I have only had their wheat brew so far but planning on checking out the others.
The owner grew up in Germany and using a recipe from his great grandfather from the 1850s.
He also has a master degree in beer science from school over there.

sometimes Labatts Blue Light,
an occasional Heineken,
and when I feel like treating myself I enjoy a Pilsner Urquell.

I may very well become partial to Bagby beer. They leased my old dealership to build their restaurant and brewery. He has been the brewmaster for Pizzaport for several years and has won awards all over for his brews. Depending on building permits and licensing they hope to up and running in 6-9 months. They've even got a pic of me and Jan on his website when we signed lease.:):beer:
