OK! The new motor is in and this thing is running like a top!!
1996 Carrera 257 Effect. With a Jersey Racing 488 (I can email build sheet) Gen 6 block bored 0.030 over, 119cc GM rectangle 088 heads, 9-1 compression, ARP head bolts, REV Iconel valves, Lunati hydraulic roller cam, Mahel pistons, 4.250 crank, Mellings high volume oil pump, and Crane gold roller rockers. The motor has Teague prepped Holley 750's on top of a Holley 420 Mega Blower with 3lbs, Supperchiller intercooler that's fed by a Teague Sea Strainer, brand new full MSD marine ignition with rev limit, Aeromotive fuel system, Imco electric fuel switch, Large fuel filter, Eddie Marine chrome HD 3" oil cooler with new large port remote oil filter adapter and AN12 oil lines, Bravo I 1:50 with nose cone, Drive Shower, Mercury Racing Sea Pump, Alpine stereo, Air cleats, ton of more stuff. You name it it's got it. Ran true 90mph with 5 people spinning a labbed 30p. Also have a 28p prop. Also has a new custom fit cover that has leather inserts where straps and the cover come into contact with the boat.
I also have an extra complete motor that needs to be rebuilt that can go with the boat. It was originally a Mercury Racing 525sc.
